Photography tips don’t make your photographs perfect.
It’s you that do so.
So, let’s get started. Here are some basic photography tips for you . Hope you would be getting benefit from these tips.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #1 AVOID BRIGHT DIRECT SUNLIGHT
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #2 FOCUS ON EYES
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #3 RULE OF THIRDS
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #4 SHOOT FROM DIFFERENT ANGLES
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #5 CHANGE THE DISTANCE
Don’t just Zoom In and Zoom Out standing at the one place. You should move a step forward or a step backward trying to get physically closer or farther from the subject. This is how you can see your perspective changing. A valid approach is not to use the wide angles at all. Instead you should increase your distance from the subject and Zoom In your subject with maximum aperture. It produces a nicely blurred background.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #6 USE SIMPLE CLOTHING
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #7 AVOID BUSY BACKGROUND
Remember not to control only your subject but also what’s behind. Avoid any distracting element in the background that could diverse the attention of the viewer from the subject in the photograph. Plants, for instance, quite often spoil a shot. So, try to make your subject stand out against a nicely blurred background.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #8 FILL THE FRAME
Let your subject be the protagonist of your picture. So, Never be afraid to crop tightly around the model’s face. Because while taking photographs from a few meters, the facial expressions of your subject tend to disappear. And in people photography, facial expressions count a lot. Also it looks like you are just capturing the scene leaving the subject out of it. By filling the frame, you add an instant impact to the picture excluding all the unnecessary things. Some photographers think that getting the whole body of the subject in the frame is necessary to make the image complete. But this is totally wrong. When shooting a person, get in really close and shoot just part of the model’s face. This gives a dramatic effect.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #9 LOOK FOR SIMPLICITY
You should have heard “Simplicity is the best policy”. As in other fields of life, this saying is also valid for the photography as well. Don’t search for an extraordinary or exclusive location for your photographs, or fancy dressing and professional studio lighting. All you need for your best shots is having faith in yourself that you can do what no one can do and the simplicity. Simple backgrounds, simple clothing, simple poses and natural expressions.
PHOTOGRAPHY TIPS : #10 TRY TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS FROM BEHIND
